This may sound ridiculous and weird, but I'm hoping someone that reads gossip mags might be able to help me out. :lol: I'm going in for a trim tomorrow and I want Emma Stone's hair color. I want to take a pic in to ask if it's doable for my hair, but my printer isn't getting the color right. I know she has a new movie out - has anyone maybe seen some red carpet pics or an editorial of her in a magazine this month? I don't want to have to be a weirdo and take my laptop in with me. :lol:

No guts, no glory! Take the damned laptop in with you -- who cares? I took an 8x10 picture from college in to my hairdresser & didn't bat an eyelash. It was worth it, too! We matched it exactly!! Go for it, hon!

It's looking that way. :lol: I did some digging and see that she was in the October issue of In Style, but I'm not sure when the November issue is released so I may not be able to get my hands on it. My grocery store seems to be slow to put out the new issues so I may luck out.

Same here. I did a very similar color to that once..it looked GREAT with my fair skin and made my eyes really pop..HOWEVER..within a few weeks it was a lovely orange-ish type color..from the red..and it just wasn't dark enough to continue to look good once the red faded a bit..so perhaps consider just a hair or two darker? Or make your follow-up appt while you are there! :killingme

Yeah, I've heard that it'll fade fast and that you kinda have to baby it. I only wash my hair about 2-3 times a week so I'm hoping that will work in my favor. Did they have to lift your natural color much? I don't think I'll do it if they have to bleach the crap out of my hair - I don't want to damage it.

More on the auburn side than red? That's the way her hair reads in the InStyle pictorial (which is funny, because the same pictures on my computer are looking more red - needs calibration I guess :lol:). We'll see. :lol:
