Bacon cheeseburger (w/ swiss cheese) sounds good.
I'm single tonight so I have to fend for myself.
Probably be some Chunky Soup and crackers.

How many votes does it take for you to decide what you have for dinner?

I had something that I haven't had since I was about 11 years old.

I tool a generous handful of shredded cheddar cheese and placed it in a non-stick frying pan. I cooked that baby up so that the messy goo turned into something nice and crispy. Once it was sufficiently browned, I popped it into my mouth and chewed.

Fried cheese. It's what for dinner. :blimpo:

I voted steak because it is what I had for dinner.... char-grilled, crispy steak! :yum:

That sounds good on my crackers (Triscuits).
With a sprinkle of Old Bay.

If you say you put ketchup on it.....

Having dinner with my daughter tonight, got steak, medium. The waitress asks me if I want steak sauce and I say NO! My daughter asked why I don't get steak sauce. I said if I wanted to taste steak sauce I'd drink it from the bottle. All that stuff does is cover the taste of the steak. Yuck.

I'll never forget the time I dined with MainMan at Jake & Al's one evening. I was enjoying my crunchy steak and ketchup when he tossed one of his onion rings on my plate... I said, "oh... thanks!" He said, "It's not for you... it's for your steak... I thought it was drowning!" :lmao:

Not really but dinner was good. Little place called New England Cafe, go figure, in Florida right?Did you see the Ken King thread, where Ponytail mentioned Zaxby's? This morning MrX headed down to Atlanta to meet up with a friend, then on to Pensacola. Once he got there, he posted that he was hungry because he had not eaten all day. I remembered Zaxby's and mentioned it. He found the place and said it was great.

The funny part was him saying, "Who would have guessed I should have consulted SoMD for Florida restaurant advice." :lmao:

We ate at the is steak place in Fernandina Beach FL while on our honeymoon and the guy at the table next to us asked for steak sauce. :yikes: This was NOT the type of place you ask for any kind of sauce to put on your steak. Anyway, the cook storms over and asks if something was wrong with the (Untasted) steak. The guy replies, "No, I just always use sauce." The cook then proceeds to tell the guy that he need try the steak before he puts sauce on it, and would not leave until he did try it.

Guess what? NO SAUCE FOR YOU!!:killingme

I had steak this evening, it was really good, very tender.

We normally go there for breakfast which is to die for because they also are a pastry shop. But my daughter wanted to do dinner there tonight and I must say, I was not disappointed. The fried eggplant was really good too.

NO, NO, NO! What is wrong with people that have to use anything on a steak? If anything, it's a little pepper, I don't do salt, but that would be it. I love the taste of steak (alone) and just hate to put anything on it.

I love the taste of steak (alone) and just hate to put anything on it.I use a couple different flavorings/marinades. I LOVE the Lysander's meat mixes; they spice things up without overpowering the meat itself. I add pepper to most stuff anyway.

Okay, I will say the KC Masterpiece garlic is pretty good, I use that on a lot of stuff, chicken, baked potato, sometimes steak, depending on the cut.
