Anyone else hear about this? I got it in an email.
WARNING:
Voter Caution with Touch-screen Voting Machine
In casting their votes on the touch-screen voting machines, several Republican voters have touched the names of Bob Ehrlich and Charles Lollar, but the machines have jumped instead to display the names of their opponents O’Malley and Hoyer. It took 3 attempts by one person to vote for Charles Lollar before the machine actually reflected her choice of Lollar rather than Hoyer.
IMPORTANT STEP: After you have finished voting for individual candidates, the machine will show you the complete list of candidates you have voted for and ask if this is an accurate list? BEFORE AGREEING PLEASE CAREFULLY CHECK THE COMPLETE LIST TO ENSURE THAT THE MACHINE ISN’T INCORRECTLY RECORDING VOTES FOR CANDIDATES FOR WHICH YOU DIDN’T INTEND TO VOTE!
IF YOU ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM PLEASE IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE CHIEF ELECTION JUDGE AT THE VOTING POLL AND E-MAIL THE INFORMATION TO US AT: CALVERTGOP.HQ@VERIZON.NET

You assume what the machine displays is what it is reporting. It's been well documented by experts that it is easy to insert code into the machine and tell it how to vote. The state was suppose to replace the Diebold machines but hasn't.

Security Analysis of the Diebold AccuVote-TS Voting Machine
Abstract This paper presents a fully independent security study of a Diebold AccuVote-TS voting machine, including its hardware and software. We obtained the machine from a private party. Analysis of the machine, in light of real election procedures, shows that it is vulnerable to extremely serious attacks. For example, an attacker who gets physical access to a machine or its removable memory card for as little as one minute could install malicious code; malicious code on a machine could steal votes undetectably, modifying all records, logs, and counters to be consistent with the fraudulent vote count it creates. An attacker could also create malicious code that spreads automatically and silently from machine to machine during normal election activities — a voting-machine virus. We have constructed working demonstrations of these attacks in our lab. Mitigating these threats will require changes to the voting machine's hardware and software and the adoption of more rigorous election procedures.
So easy even a member of SEIU can do it!

Yep... a few have post here that they've done their early voting and the same thing happened to them when trying to select Lollar.

Funny, in Clarke County Neveda the reports are that the ballots come out partially checked and guess who is preslected as the US Senator?
Thank you SEIU for making our life easier.

I have felt for some time that we would be lucky, given that we are under the nobama regime,to have an election that is legal. The dems are to afraid that they will lose that they will do anything to win including lie ,cheat and steal. Whats new !!!

It's time to go back to paper & ink voting. Remember those "chads"?
I never vote early for this very reason. I'd better not have any voting machine problems next Tuesday though...
