Welcome! I have never heard of a Cat Club before but there are plenty of cat rescues in the area if you want to volunteer your time.

And I knew they would jump on my question that is why I typed what I did -

but I am serious - what do people do that are in a Cat Club. I have never heard of such.

AND I HAVE A CAT HOUSE IN MY BACK YARD THAT IS FOR FELINES - NOT WOMEN! We do call it the Cat House because that is what it is - now - it used to be my garden shed but.... they took over my life!

Had those kittens not be affixed with the transmitters and thrown into the swirling winds, much of the current knowledge regarding these storms would never have been known.

Having allergies to critters never stopped me from having them, I just limit the number I keep personally. My allergies are probably mild compared to others I've seen who begin to wheeze around pets. Plus a little allergy RX goes a long to helping (me anyway) ....

Do you have a specific breed you like? If so google for regional clubs for that breed or search the CFA cite and see if you find something to your liking. There are also places like meetup.com that can help you find people with common interests. Good luck.
