I was listening to a Donald Trump interview this morning; he was ranting about how little respect he feels this country gets from the rest of world thanks to, first, Bush's foreign policy and now Obama's that he considers even worse, etc etc.
But then he made it clear he is seriously considering a run for the presidency!..but won't decide and announce for sure either way until nex spring.
Hmmm. That puts an interesting twist on the possiblities for 2012, yes?

Not really. Trump is too much of a cartoon character.

Perhaps...but then again, in the current political environment, who is NOT a cartoon character that gets any real attention? For better and worse, but still...

That's all we need, a rug-head as President.

I'd vote for him over Oblama but the MSM will rip him to shreds if it even looked like he may get a vote. Too much dirty laundry.

I was convinced a looong time ago that nobody with any gumption and record of note that has really pushed the envelope and accomplished anything significant will not have at least some 'dirty laundry'..that term often defined more by the media than by any legal construct.

You and I know that but we're not talking about rational people here.

Nope. Trump will have a difficult time convincing intelligent people that he can reduce the deficit and balance the budget when his companies continously file bankruptcy. The most recent being 2009.
In addition, Trump would have to file financial disclosure statements that will reveal his true networth. He's not about to do that because he has always inflated the truth.
Trump is a lousy business man. He borrows to the hilt and gets his bankers to the point that they have more to lose if they call in his loans. Trump is a con man with a great big mouth and an atrocious toupe.

I will say Trump tells it like it is. He has the money to back him. Might make a good Prez. With that said, he has NO chance. Too many republicians running. They will take the vote from each other and kill off the chance to have a republician this year. Therefore, a taxocrat, uh... democrat will win in 2012. Probably Obama again. This is why Obama has already predicted he will win in 2012. He knows the republicians will be all over the place in the 2012 vote.

People should never get caught up in what party a person is. You vote based on his or her belief in the issues that matter to you and to our Country. This is when you vote for the best person. You never vote for a party just to keep the cult figure going. You vote based on what is best for your family and best for America. Otherwise, we are a Country divided by politics. For many politicians, this is what they hope for. It keeps them in office while party cult members remain shackles to what they are told is best for our Country by their leader. Interesting, we look at religious leaders that lead other Countries such as Iran; But yet, our political system seems to have some paralells to the religious cults in the East.

Where did I mention a party? I said conservatives. It doesn't matter if you are going for a tea party independent candidate or a Republican - they all are getting painted with the same brush.

Makes sense if you really think about it.
Makes himself rich by claiming bankruptcy and using other peoples money to line his pockets....
You might be right, He could well be a democrat.

He is either a Democrat shill or just trying to keep his branding up with a hot button issue. I don't think he had/has any attention of running. His name is his wealth... if his name isn't big, his wealth isn't big.

Trump is a business man. His actions are based on doing business. I think he will put the chinese in there respective place and that is the most important thing at this time in history. I say he will never bow to muslims and chinese. My knees don't bend as easily as Obama's. JMO.

See, now Trump wants to run as an Independent after shooting another Apprentice. A three way race ala Perot in '92 will get the Kenyan-Indonesian re-elected.
All as planned.
