Canada Radio stations censor Dire Straits Money for Nothing.

Wow 26 years after the song came out. Talk about being PC.

How would you take this?

The little ###### with the earring and the makeup
Yeah buddy, that's his own hair
That little ###### got his own jet airplane
That little ###### he's a millionaire

Even SOMD wants them censored!

Maybe we should send Canada the music video so they can catch a clue as to what's going on in the song?

I almost never hear that lyric when I hear the song on regular radio. And it's very rare that I hear it even on satellite radio. I like it when I hear it though because it usually means I'll hear the long version of the song and it won't be butchered and cut short at the end.

Google the lyrics to the song WCSR by Kid Rock. The only word - on the "unedited" version of the CD - that is edited out starts with F and rhymes with "rag". Look at the lyrics, and realize THAT is the word that was deemed too offensive for even an "unedited" CD.

Sad, sad world.

This_person, i do know what the lyrics are i am just surprised that it it took Canada 26 years to figure them out. I guess it was due to the Australian accent.
