This is the best new rule NASCAR has come up with. It still allows Cup drivers to compete but insures a Natiowide driver as the Nationwide champion and allows them to learn from the Cup drivers. I don't think guys like Harvick, etc will have anymore of a "wreckers or checkers" attitude because there's still an owners championship to think about.:yahoo:

They need to get them out of there period.
As for saying it would be like ARCA and wouldn't work, that shows the ignorance of the 'necks who run the sport.
ARCA is failing because of piss poor management not because of lack of Cup drivers.

I beg to differ. The Nationwide guys learn from the Cup drivers and they all aspire to be Cup drivers one day. Whether we like it or not the Cup drivers do draw increased attendence and that is good for the sponsors so don't make that decision in haste.

Who has broadcast rights to the first part of the season?
What series Sprint Cup, Nationwide or Camping world? Daytona 500 is on FOX.

Sprint.
FOX airs the first part of the season (with the exception of the Daytona Duel races and the All Star Race which will air on SPEED:boo:), then TNT takes over at either Kansas or Pocono (I've heard three different things here) and ESPN takes over at either Loudon or Indianapolis (again, three different stories here).
The NASCAR Nationwide Series is on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC all season.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is on SPEED all season, as are the big ten for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. :boo:
The K&N Pro Series and the Whelen Modified Tour hasn't been determined yet, but I imagine SPEED and VERSUS will split broadcast rights for those divisions.
