A couple things to go over for this year... same scoring system as before... 10 points for each pick plus 25 points for the winner.

5 picks regular season, 7 picks during the Chase.

The races we make picks for that count for points are all points races. No points for the Clash (Shootout), All Star Challenge or other series races (Prelude, ARCA, Nationwide, Trucks, etc).

I have a very busy season ahead of me so it'll likely be huntr and hd20 who score the points since they'll likely be at a computer before me... because I'll pretty much be busy at all times.

If anyone has any suggestions to make this better for everyone, now's the time to submit them.

By the way, there has been a lot of talk lately about civil speech and being nice to each other. The President says we should tone down the rhetoric. The media suggests we should all talk to each other with respect. Other sports league commissioners says we should handle winning with humility and losing with grace.

Well, in my league, civil speech is discouraged. If you want to talk sh!t, talk sh!t.

So far, I'm looking at all the big races at Old Dominion Speedway Manassas, Langley Speedway when I'm in Virginia for Spring Break, ARCA race at the New Jersey Motorsports Park road course, and maybe North Wilkesboro in June.

We will have 4 NON POINT races during the season , how about keeping a point scoring tally for those 4 races and the TOTAL POINT WINNER after the All Star race , recieve a 25 point bonus ! This will keep interest and particapation in those races as well as bragging rights. :whistle:

That's why I don't do NASCAR. If I do the ARCA race at NJMP and UARA at North Wilkesboro, it'll be because the website I'm working for covers the expenses at least in part.

The second half of the racing season is more complicated because I'm moving to Pisgah. Likely still ODS, maybe Baltimore in August, and maybe some Potomac Speedway dirt track racing.

I don't know how effective that would be, but nothing short of a playoff would be effective... and I don't want to do that.

I mean, even if they come in as hot as Wildcat did, I don't know if anything would be effective. Wildcat got hot and knocked 50 points each week but fizzled out. And at times, you and OldFart got hot as well.
