How sad is this? :frown:
Seven children are dead after police say a central Pennsylvania farm house caught fire while their mother was in a barn milking cows and their father was taking a nap in a milk delivery truck. Those who perished ranged in age from 7 months to 11 years.

Congratulations little Baja! I'm proud of you, son! It's heart warming to see you actually display a little humanity. And yes, this fire was a tragic event.

Very sad  Why didnt the mother go get the kids from the house and THEN go to the neighbors 2 houses a way to call the fire department? That wouldve been my first instinct get the kids then go for help if I couldnt get them.

Thats pretty much what she did. It say she tried to get into the home before running to a neighbors house to call 9/11. My guess is the fire and smoke made it impossible for her to get in the home.

The responding officer on the scene said the mother told him: "While mom's milking cows, her 3-year-old daughter comes running into the barn and the 3-year-old tells the mother that there's smoke inside the house," Pinkerton said. "Mom leaves the barn, comes running out, sees that the house appears to be on fire."
The mother went to two neighbors' houses before she could get someone to call 911, he said. She then found her husband sleeping in his milk truck and they rushed back to the home to find their home engulfed in flames and firefighters trying to put out the blaze
