When I click "quick reply" it still goes to quote. My glitch or the forums?

It has been doing that to me, too.

I get a Quick Reply box. What skin are you using? I have Somd Classic Style.

I just changed my skin and that didn't help.
I thought maybe it was my net book computer; I don't think it happens on my other computer.

Seems to work for me and I am in blue.

Using IE 8...

If you run the browser in Compatibility Mode - or have SOMD.com as a site to view in Compatibility Mode (Tools | Compatibility Mode Settings -> Add 'somd.com') then Quick Reply works.

If you do not, then the clicking the 'Quick Reply' quotes the message.

Seems to be independent of Skin.

Wow, really??? I can't believe they would disable it and use bandwidth for replies that don't need a quote. Sometimes there is no explanation for what computer geeks do. Maybe you should try Clevalley's solution. You may notice, I did not quote your message since I followed Clevalley's instructions exited and re-entered. Bingo! It re-enabled the quick reply option that they so rudely disable 2 years ago! SARCASM!

This is a quick reply - and it gives me the option to either show or not show my siggy, and to quote the message I'm replying to.

Not sure what the purpose of a "quick reply" is, but it appears to be working.

See? Look, Ma! No siggy!

It's been doing the same thing to me for months.
