I just picked up a set of heads for my 5.0 mustang. They look to be in good shape but I would like to take them to get cleaned up. Everything looks flat just would like to have them checked over.

Can anyone recommend a shop.
Thanks

I have never dealt with them, but there is a speed shop down off off Rte 5. It's past Park hall I'm pretty sure. Can't remember the name right now. Maybe someone else can, plus I know there are others around St Marys. Just don't have the numbers or names.

Go to stovebolt .com----They are primarily chevy folks, but I'm sure they can direct you to a reputable machine shop. They(the website) are in Mechanicsville.

if you are going to take them in you might as well go ahead and get them shaved 30 thousands and have the valve guides replaced. Valves polished and or replaced as needed.

This place does really good work. He has the latest cnc machines and other machines. We recently had all of our block work done there on one of our SBC's.
