I'm a PB junkie. I'm also a PB snob, no store brands or cheap stuff. I LOVE Sunland PB and Peanut Butter & Co. I really like the flavor infused ones. Any other brands out there I should try? I'm in the mood to order some.

I'm not as elite when it comes to PB, I probably live in a PB trailer, but I love it just the same......I go for the Natural stuff.....I really enjoy Almond butter too.......Where do you get yours from? I'm always inclined to try something new and move on up...

I typically order online. Giant has been carrying limited flavors of both.

Lately we've been buying Smucker's Natural and Crazy Richard's. Have you tried PB2 powdered peanut butter?

I think I got the Crazy Richard's a couple months ago and wasn't crazy about the texture. I do like the Smuckers Natural a lot! I've never heard of powdered PB. Going to google it now.

Interesting. The website isn't too informative so forgive my goofy question but is it actually powder? That would be awesome for cooking! What's the consistency, fine, chunky?
I like just plain old peanuts. I like to snack on them, on ice cream and when I was a kid I put them in my coke bottle. I like them shelled, in the shell, roasted, boiled, candied and smack dab in the middle of an M&M. Dry roasted not so much.
I don't like to say "I like peanuts" because if you say it too fast it sounds like you said "I like penis" which I do not, except for mine, which is ok.

I like peanuts covered in potato chips (http://bmorenutz.com/).
Peanut butter is one of those things that I have a strange aversion to, like fruit. I like it, it tastes good, if I were at someone's house and that's what they were serving I would enjoy it, but I don't eat it at home. Even though I have a perfectly good jar of Peter Pan in the pantry.

Those look interesting.
Baby daddy thinks that he hates PB but several years back I made PB cookies and he ate several before asking what kind they were. As soon as I told him he said "I thought they tasted funny!" Yeah you thought they tasted funny so you had to keep trying them.
I have several different types in my pantry and even one at my desk at work. I'm a high end honey junkie as well.

I didn't used to like it either and I still won't eat PB sandwiches, but I have cultivated an intense love of peanut butter.

Next time substitute PB&Co's Dark Chocolate Dreams for the PB in your cookies. It's delicious. :yum:

I used to get Smucker's Goobers. It has both PB and Jelly in the same container. Problem was there was never enough Jelly and I'd scrape the jelly from the side and eventually there was nothing but PB... :ohwell:

My aunt used to get that for my cousin and me when we were kids. I never understood the concept, mainly for the reason you stated - not enough jelly.

Holy crap I so LOVE you! They have cranberry! #11. Sunland use to have a cranberry and vanilla and they changed to cherry and vanilla about a year ago. The cherry is good but I miss the cranberry!

I always thought that was a poor choice in a name.
'Course, could be cuz I knew kids that used the word "Goobers" to describe the thick, slimy, green snot stuck in someones nose or the thick phlegm kids would spit out when they had a cold.
Either way, it's not the image I want to think of when buyin PB&J!

YES! After trying many of the PB's on the market, I've narrowed my fav's down to 2: Skippy's "Natural" PB and Smart Balance's Rich Roast. I try to stick with the most "natural" unprocessed brands and these 2 fit the bill overall. They have less than 3 or 4 ingredients and no HFCS or hydrogenated oils. Skippy has some sugar in theirs but not much. Since I usually eat it in very small increments and not in sandwiches, it's just right as a "sweet" IMO...

Can you grind your own peanut butter at the Trader Joe's in Annapolis? I really really want to go up there but (a) driving 1.5 hours for snacks is slightly inappropriate and (b) I will get addicted and want to go up there once a week.

Can you???? Can you make flavors? I'm going to have to investigate this. Sounds like we should plan a visit and hit Ulta while we're up there!

I don't know! I know you can grind your own PB at some TJ's locations but don't know any of the details.

Have you ever tried a "Fluffer-Nutter?" (Insert laugh here)
Use whatever bread you prefer. Spread one side with any chunky peanut butter; the other side with marshmallow cream.
You can actually feel your middle getting bigger as you eat one.

I still put Chips on my Peanut Butter, and just LOVE it. I know this sounds sickening, but make toast, put a thin coat of butter & Cream Cheese on one side, then Peanut Butter on the other side. What a great Sandwich, and treat that is.:cartwheel

When I was in the Navy, I worked with a guy who brought cream cheese and jelly sandwiches (on toast) for lunch every day. EVERY day for the 3 years I was there. They were wrapped in aluminum foil, which he used to fold back up and reuse, along with the napkin. Seriously frugal guy. I worked up the nerve to finally try one one day (not his, one of my own making, that cheap bastige) and it was very good! Not everyday-for-3-years good, but good.
