Beaten, Seared and Sauced by Jonathan Dixon. It's an account of his training at Culinary Institute of America. VERY interesting - if you enjoy watching Food Network shows, you'll like this book. Dixon is smart and funny, and very forthcoming about what took him to CIA.

Where is BadGirl when I need her? SHE'D be interested in my book. :mad:

Anyway, my friend is on the Hilton Head diet so I'm coming up with creative ways to manipulate her set menus so they're appetizing and fun, without adding anything she can't have. My own little junior grade version of Chopped :smile:
