I want to try Perfect Formula Strengthen & Seal but can't justify spending 30 bucks on it.... :( I have long natural nails but wish they were stronger.

Nutra NailŪ Customized Nail Care (http://www.nutranail.com/)

I used this for many years. Awesome stuff and much cheaper.

Try Sally Hansen Mega Shine! I've had good luck with it lately. I usually use an Essie base coat, Essie polish, Mega Shine top coat and OPI Drip Dry. My DIY manicures usually last around 5 days and I even squeezed out a week without chips at the beach.

Oh heck no! That's too much work and time for me.

And only for 5 days??? I prefer the shellac at the nail salon for $20 that lasts 2-3 weeks.

It doesn't take that long and I don't have to drive anywhere and make polite conversation with the person doing my nails. And I wouldn't want the same color on my nails for 2-3 weeks, not to mention my nails grow very fast so I'd end up with gross grown out polish. To each their own.

Where can you get the shellac done? Thanks.

I would think all nail salons have Shellac polish -- it's been out for quite some time.

I just assumed it was expensive. It's been a few years since I've gotten my nails done at a salon.
