I really suggest that no one go to this ugly plantation, and it might be about time that people start viewing that place for what it really is - which is a place built on cruel injustices and ugly white racism along with their greed, exploitations and their white barbarism against the African slaves.

When I was young about 17 then I worked one summer on the Sotterley farm so I know that place quite well.

It would be different if they would destroy that ugly plantation and instead build maybe a school or a Nursing Home or some thing contrary to what it has been - but no.

Instead they orchestrate events at that ugly Plantation to make it appear as if the dishonest white racist values in that horrible place has merit which it does not.

Sotterley is a racist place that needs to be denounced.

White Racist? I think not: Read your history before you sound off:
What these records show is that the modern slave trade flourished in the early middle ages, as early as 869, especially between Muslim traders and western African kingdoms. For moralists, the most important aspect of that trade should be that Muslims were selling goods to the African kingdoms and the African kingdoms were paying with their own people. In most instances, no violence was necessary to obtain those slaves. Contrary to legends and novels and Hollywood movies, the white traders did not need to savagely kill entire tribes in order to exact their tribute in slaves. All they needed to do is bring goods that appealed to the kings of those tribes. The kings would gladly sell their own subjects.

hmm. you should tell that to my black coworker who loves visiting the place. Tell her instead of showing people what life was like for slaves at the time, and showing what they helped contribute to..that you should knock it down and pretend like it didn't happen. :eyebrow:

The reference and the subject is about the racist Sotterley Plantation here in Hollywood.

It is a reference to America and to the African slavery here in the USA.

Your attempt to cover it up is NOT well done.

Who is trying to cover up anything. I am merely pointing out that slavery was initiated by the African Kings who would trade their people for various trinkets offered by the muslims. You are the one playing the race card, I quote:
" I really suggest that no one go to this ugly plantation, and it might be about time that people start viewing that place for what it really is - which is a place built on cruel injustices and ugly white racism along with their greed, exploitations and their white barbarism against the African slaves.
"
The Africans chiefs and kings would trade their people to muslims, and europeans,
who ever had the best or the most to trade with. Your attempt to keep alive a hatred that shouldve expired a long time ago is appaling and shame on you
