Citizens are advised that the Town of La Plata is planning to pave the section of Washington Avenue between Talbot Street and Caroline Drive on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. One lane will be paved at a time in order to maintain two-way traffic. Flaggers will control traffic at either end of the operation.

Citizens should expect delays and drive slowly through the construction area. The date for the paving project may be postponed due to weather.
