Found an orange fluffy cat with half a tail or very short tail on the corner of Brown Road and St. Andrews Church Road. Very friendly, let me catch it and hold it down for the car ride home. Very thin, friendly but scared, so can't check it's gender. Please PM me if looking for one. If any rescues have room please PM me as well, I can't bring him/her in because I have a lot of indoor cats. Will post pics as soon as I can figure that out.

You know what's interesting? The vet staff called his color "buff" - like you, I think he's more on the orange side. I guess it's sort of a mix? If you hear from anyone that he's a missing pet just let me know. I much prefer he be reunited with his family, if he has one. He's such a unique looking kitty that's for sure with that partial tail and the medium length fur. Very cute.

He's much cuter in person  and the vet staff also said that he was VERY tolerant of being handled compared to other cats.

I'm glad he's feeling better. You know a cat is sweet if he lets you scoop him up off a busy street at night and rides in the car w/o peeing or pooping on the upholstery. He's classy.
I'll make an effort to find his owner, from the condition he is in, I think he's been roughing it for awhile.

He weighed in at 7.2 lbs at the vet - pretty thin for sure.

Next to an orange cat, it's apparent that the vet staff were right, this boy is BUFF in color. We named him Foxy before the vet staff assessed him (suspected female).
We have found no evidence of a lost report on him, so we need to find this boy a home. He's 7 lbs but probably should be about 10-12 lbs? Not a long body like the other 2 boys we have. He's a VERY hungry boy!
I put him in my lap and he promptly jumped down. Then he meowed to get back in my lap. I put him in my lap again, and there he stayed a while. I've put him in with the 2 boy buddies we have to see if they will get along. So far Smokey hissed at him, but no paws were raised.
Please help us find this adorable boy a home!

I hope that his Liver Enzymes are just high because of the Medications you have him on. Poor Baby.

I had to do that with the police K-9 to get him to eat. Was a twist because he was a very food aggressive dog, so being able to hand feed him was a testament to just how sick he really was.

I heard somewhere that if you shove a pill in their mouth, lightly blow on their nose, it makes them lick their lips and swallow.

After re reading what I wrote, my thoughts went in the gutter.
Gentlemen: this trick probably will not work on your wives. If you value your manhood and if she has teeth, just remember what she has in her mouth!
Oh, God, that was bad!

I took a picture of Foxy next to Sammy who is orange. Remember how we both thought Foxy had an orange look to him? It shows how buff his color is when he's next to Sammy.
Look back at your first picture of Foxy - it's amazing how different he looks now that he has gained weight. I'm hoping we can find Foxy a home soon. He doesn't get enough attention being fostered. He gets along great with Joey (http://forums.somd.com/cats/237600-calling-all-calico-lovers.html) (female Calico), so maybe someone would like to take them as a pair?
