I heard on WMAL this morning, one reason they gave for the changes "Was to make the map more Aesthetically Pleasing"

Oh, that is why they choose to shape a district like a spiral?

The map was bad enough before, its outrageous now, we may go to the top of the 50 states for the most gerry mandered voting districts with this map.
