I think he meant Ponds Wood Rd. and Rt. 261, not 231. Plum Point Road curves north and becomes Rt. 261 just south of Ponds Wood Road. I live near that intersection and saw the helo circling to land. Any word on the vehicles involved or extent of injuries? My son can't get in touch with his girlfriend, who has friends in Breezy Point, and is worried.

Plum Point (Rt. 263) continues east and goes to the bay. Rt.261 (Bayside Rd.) starts there and goes through the beaches.

I was being sarcastic about the large area

Geographical semantics...lol. The Plum Point Rd./Rt. 261 intersection has an odd configuration.

Hope whoever was flown out has a good outcome.
