Anyone try these? I saw them on an infomercial and then got an e-mail. Thinking of trying them, but wanted to hear some real life opinions first.

I tried them, not worth it!! I need comfort!!These bras are not a cure all. I've actually been thinking of the bra fairy. But they are expensive, I'm just not desperate enough yet I guess.

Why can't they make support bras cute like the bra/panty sets out on the market? The sets always include a bra with very weak shoulder straps.

I actually love them, I wear mine every day, they look like a real bra under clothes but way more comfortable. Of course I'm a comfort junkie. I love Pajama Jeans too. I wrote a cute story. If you want my whole opinion. I'm not selling them or anything.

:jet: That commercial has been running on the weekends again - and when I saw them last night I said "ooh, how attractive. NOT." Even Thing1 LOL!
Comfort? No thanks. I'll stick with my VS "foundation undergarments", and they are very comfortable, TYVM.

I like the genie bra for wearing around the house or to sleep in but not to wear out. A lot of different companies have their own version of genie bra so it's not the kind you buy at cvs or any other drug store. The ones I am currently wearing I bought from kohl's. I originally bought them when I was pregnant because I always felt like I couldn't breath and regular bra's made me uncomfortable.

I actually came here because when I searched Genie Bra and Pajama Jeans this site kept coming up. I don't live in Maryland, I live in California, so I probably never would have come here if I hadn't kept seeing it. I guess I'm not that picky about what store I buy my underwear at, and I really do like them, I'm wearing it right now. Well, I'm glad I could liven up your thread. Goodnight ladies.

It's still an ugly bra and bras do not have to be ugly to be comfortable. :yay:

I've never seen the commercial for the Genie bra. It looks like a sports bra with no support (or a short tank)
I'll stick to my VS Incredible

Funny thing. I was actually going to start a thread asking for bra suggestions. I need new ones. I need comfortable ones. The one that I'm wearing now was the most comfortable one that I ever owned until I started this new schedule. It's an elcheapo from Target. Now I have a bra on for 14 hours straight.
But these Genie bras are FUGLY!

As I mentioned in my story, most people who have these strong negative feelings about them have never seen either of these products. It doesn't sound like you have either. So, you've made up your mind. Yes, I do want people to read my story, but I also wanted to weigh in on the discussion, and since I already wrote a whole story about it, it's easier to just post a link. If it's against some kind of rule, I suppose admin could just delete it.

:yay: I like shopping online for a lot of clothing items- most of the time even paying the shipping to return items saves me more time & money than if I had to go to the mall, etc.

I like alot of their bras. I am just one of those people that needs to feel the bra before I buy it. Alot of their bras are make of harsh material. I like something that is soft and comfy.

They have a store in a VA beach mall, I understand that is pretty far, but they might have some closer.
I honestly never looked into looking for them I just happened to stumble across that one. Spent way too much money

That's definitely way too far. I am just not a mall person. That's what St. Mary's County needs...a lingerie store!

I've never tried a Victoria's Secret bra, so I can't say. I never could bring myself to pay that much for a bra, but maybe they're worth it, what makes them better? I always find that where bras hook in the back is scratchy, maybe I'm more sensitive than most.

They used to sell them in infomercials on Saturday mornings. I bought a 2pack on the recommendation of a friend who loves them. She's pretty well endowed, so I thought, even though I'm average, if they worked for her and were comfortable, I might be able to fight a little gravity.
Those suckers are like a damn boob tourniquet! The first time I "tried" to put it on, it got all rolled up in a bunch under both of my armpits and I was flapping my elbows up in the air and trying to peel the damn thing away from my upperchest and and down onto my boobs. I have yet to figure out how to get it on without making a spectacle of myself. Once on, it's comfortable enough, but it's not worth the struggle. Luckily, taking it off was not nearly as bad.

It sounds like it was too small for you, they actually run really small. I'm a 34B and I like the extra large better than the large. I think Genie Bra will not work very well for the well endowed woman.

My friend is a DD. She loves them. The way that thing rolls up under my armpits as I put it on, I could probably use it to "epilady" my pits. I'm about the same size as you; bought large. so maybe I needed an xtra large. But I won't be buying one.
