I'm finally going there tomorrow. Anyone ever been? Is it worth the $57 per person? I have been wanting to try it out for a while. Any thoughts?

I took my bfriend there when we went to Fl.... and we slipped the beer wench some money to make sure our beer was always filled...

OMG... I dont remember the eve... and then I get ALL the pictures back... and almost died when there was a pick of me and one of the nights in a tight lip lock!!! :killingme :smoochy:

oops I was bashing the wrong place...I was thinking the Renaissance Festival- post deleted.

Are you talking about the Renaissance Festival or Med Times? Two totally different things.. Went to the Med Times down in Myrtle Beach - 1st time going and had wanted to go for a while.. It was fun.. its not Broadway if thats the kinda thing your going for.. there are animals so it does have a smell - not where you'll be gagging but..

We went a couple of weeks ago. It was a mad house... 2+ hours sitting in traffic to get to parking, the place was packed inside, all the shows were mobbed with people, the porta potties had mega lines and wreaked, 20+ minute wait in line for a dry turkey leg and was told drinks are in another line! It is not a smoke free venue, so there were pleanty of people smoking up cigs and cigars. Parents with whinny kids and jumbo strollers everywhere.

Needless to say at least for our first time visit it was not worth it...

So we should go to Dave and Busters insted?

It's really about what you are in to.....I took my neices and nephews there once for their bday and they LOVED it.....I was looking for utensils to stab myself with the whole time...It just seems a little cheesey...but some people are into that..it's just not my cup of tea.


Dave and Buster's however you have to drag me out of.....drinking beer and playing games....that's my wheelhouse!

Went once several years ago, Food was ok nothing great, But had a great time. !!!

In all my years of dinning out ( and we do that waaaaay to often) between the tickets, drinks, souvenirs and pictures it was the most expensive meal I ever had.

I went to Dave and Busters last year thinking it would be a fun thing for my at the time fiance and I. Especially since it was suppose to be adults only .....WRONG there were more kids than adults!! I think the only really fun part was racing each other in the cars games.

You should have gone to the Ren Fest in Annapolis and had a lot more fun and breathed fresh air and drank better beer and ale! :buddies:
Dont waste your money at Med. Times...itis a rip off....

Looks like we are gonna go to Dave and Busters insted. She wants to go bowling and I want to play video games so it will be perfect.
