I blew the poll, because I left out so many variables like hair color. Please post your preferences, specifying what they are.

You left out "the one that I currently have" ...who just did the hard part of putting up Christmas lights while I got the easy part (supervising, running to store for more, etc.). :roflmao:

Made a loaf of bread called a Julekake, that was similiar to a stollen. Dough made in the bread machine, baked in the oven. Yummy toasted with lots of butter!

You can't "pick" your perfect mate from a checklist. You can meet someone that allows you to check off all your happy hopey little boxes yet that person is not your compatible mate.

That sounds delicious .......

I made some pumpkin bread in my breadmaker and I guess I put in too much pumpkin vs. flour because the middle was more like pumpkin pie filling LOL

First of all, Kourtney is prettier than Kim. But Kim's ass is just a tad excessive. Mine is huge but does not bubble out as much as hers. I just do not see why alot of men think Kim's so hot. I hate her attitude. I'd like to have Kourtney's body with Khloe's attitude. Then again, Kourtney has a douche for a boyfriend. Kim ditched her douche of a hubby so I'll give her a little credit.

Really? I think Kim is absolutely beautiful, but I will agree that her personality sucks and Kourtney has the better body.

IMO, lots of make-up doesn't necessarily make a woman more beautiful. Personally, I don't like the over-done makeup chick. Too much - makes me wonder what she really looks like underneath all the layers.

Looking at the 2 pics above, I think both are attractive but my eyes immediately look to the left - not b/c of the makeup but b/c of the cleavage. I'm a man and that cleavage is just screaming "Look at me!". :hot:

Also, showing off her body with a tight dress, plenty of cleavage, and an a$$ stickin out and shakin about doesn't make a woman beautiful either. It does however get people, both men and women, to look at you. Now don't get me wrong - I enjoy the view  and if given the chance, I'd probably take care of bizness with her but I still think she wears too much makeup. And I certainly wouldn't want to marry her.

Natural beauty is enhanced by carefully distributed makeup. But the true measure of beauty is at the last sight of the evening and the first sight of the morning. If physical, the theory works. If spiritual or psychological, the theory works. If online, the theory fails when the browser window is closed - used to be funny, not so much anymore.

I know I've been strongly attracted to many women over the years whom, if all you had was a picture, you'd think "huh?" - but it wouldn't take five minutes in their presence for you to feel the same. I used to know an otherwise rather plain woman and I never met a guy who could ignore her. I used to say "I don't know what she has, but she has a lot of it".

Charm, manners, sensitivity, a listening ear, an infectious smile. Laughs at your jokes - and understands them. A few people really, really have it. It's impossible not to like them.

Well said. :yay:

Looks can and will change over time. While looks are important, there are many other aspects of a person that should be considered when discussing beauty (several of them listed above). Our culture today relies too much on the visual and constantly pushes that image is everything.

A woman with a smokin hot body is great to look at but there needs to be some substance other than looks. Now it might work well for a fun booty call without any intelligent conversation but looks alone won't hold for any long-lasting meaningful relationship.

She's definitely the type that you have to do a double take of in the morning. What you woke up next to is NOT what you went to bed next to. She's not terrible without makeup on but she's not HOT either.

Years ago, I dated a girl who had a complexion like ivory. She had auburn/brown hair, brown eyes and an adorable smile.
When we first began dating she wore makeup SO heavy she looked like a hooker. That is the only way to describe it; not to be mean. Eventually, I convinved her that she did not need ALL that red blush, and heavy eye shadow and all that other stuff.

I saw her one day without a drop or dab of makeup for the first time; months after we began dating. She was GORGEOUS. Like I said, ivory complexion and all the rest. I couldn't take my eyes off her that day.

Nah....I don't miss her THAT much. I've taken cold showers ever since we broke up; stuffed ice in my pockets.....

Ideally, my mate would be....

... one that makes my soul sing when she's near and my heart satiated, my judgment sound, and my mind ambitious when she's far.

Is that too much to ask?

SamSpade

Somehow - "someone who can willingly put up with all my crap " is a pretty tall order for me, and most of those I know. When it's obvious that that's a requirement, most of the human race is excluded. Eventually when you start adding more conditions, you'll find you've eliminated every human who has ever lived.

I think once we realize what a pain in the ass we are, finding anyone who chooses to put up with it anyway is probably as close to sainthood as you're going to meet.
