So I end up replacing my cards about once a year because they break. Most of the time they crack right along the magnetic strip. I tried putting them in upside down and not they crack in the middle. Anyone else have this issue?

:yeahthat:

I've had some of mine for over 5 years. They only get replaced because the card companies send me new ones every so often.

I have 2 plus my debit card, along with a multitude of other cards that look like credit cards. License, discount cards, insurance cards, ....

I once read that you should never keep all your credit cards and checkbook in one single wallet. My wallet has 2 visa's, my debit and my DL. Checkbook is separate and the other various cards (most that are probably dead due to non-use) are in another separate card carrier thingy.

Not a lot bigger than mine. But my wallet doesn't go into my back pocket, it goes in to the front pocket. I started doing that eons ago to relive backache caused by a wallet in the rear pocket.

But if someone wants to lift my wallet from my purse, they don't get it all in swoop.

Prolly the amount of $$$$ stuffed into the wallet that caused the backache, not the location

Same here discovered that by accident years ago not to put wallet in back pocket, and it did relieve backache pain.

What do you to your cards?....I never have to replace them due to any kind of wear-in-tear.

I do cut some up from time to time

I fish Pete's cards out of his dumpster and cover the mag strip with scotch tape. They continue to work just fine.
