About three months ago I received a call from a friend saying that her daughter found a box on the side of the road with 5 tiny kittens. So I went to go see them and they were very little. She kept one and I bought the other four home. I took them to the vet just to see how old he thought they were and he said around weeks. All 5 were orange. They were the cutest little things. Well I did all the things I needed to do for kittens that young and they turned into beautiful kittens. My plan was to raise them until old enough, but.....after them being so special, I decided to keep them.(I got to attached lol) So now its time to get all four fixed but..........in the beginning what I thought were all little boys, are all little girls!! lol Just my luck to have 4 girls. So I am needing to have them spayed as soon as I can. Before I realized they were girls I had already named them.....Dallas, Jasper, Pooh and Lil Bit. So if anyone knows of a place to get this done I would appreciate it. Seems like even the Humane Society and etc are kind of much when you have four to do. Take care and have a Happy New Year.

Terry If you live in Calvert County, go to the Spot Thrift Store which is open Wednesday through Sunday, and ask to speak to Ellen. She will be able to help you. It would be reduced cost, if not free. Happy New Year to you, and your Kitties.!

Statistically, most orangies are males..Bless your heart for taking them in :-)
If you live in Calvert, the Calvert Well Pet clinic in Huntingtown is the least expensive place to go. St Marys has a Well Pet Clinic as well. Sorry I don't have #'s available.

I live in Charles County. Maybe if I talked to the lady in charge and tell her the circumstances she might would let me get them done. Never hurts to ask.
And Happy New Year to you and yours and thank you.

I am in Charles County. I figured they were special kittens that had gotten off to a bad start so I was going to make sure they would have a good life and spoiled. I agree with you that you see more males then females that are orange. Just my luck I had to get all four of them.lol I have been to the Wellness Clinic in St Marys a couple years ago and the one in Waldorf a couple times. I never had four little gals to do. lol Thanks for your help.
