My hope is that BG would make her own bacon mayo, since it's easy to do, and not bother with some chemical laden commercial glop.

BUT! Now I'm thinking about the bacon jam I just made, and how you could mix it with mayo to make a helluvagood spread.

Pssst... that is a pancake... not a clam.

Well that’s stupid. Why would a bunny have a pancake on its head?

I don't even like mayonnaise, but I may have to try this stuff anyway.

I've got a 10 pound box of bacon in the fridge. I think I'll just cook that up and eat it without the mayo.

You think I'm kidding about the 10 pound slab of bacon. I'm not. I don't joke about bacon.

How long will that last you?

Embarrassed I have to admitt this but w/ 2 little ones and 4 big strapping men/boys in my house we easily go through 1lb of a bacon at breffus. Now if you are talking BLT's for dinner, thats 2 loaves of bread and 2 - 3 lbs of bacon. So a 10 lb slab last us all of about a month.

you know what's disgusting? as healthy as i try to be, when i make bacon, i don't cook it till its crispy. just when its still greasy. and then i eat it.

i can't believe i admitted that.

i'm beachcat and i'm a baconaholic.

You know what I'd like to know about bacon? Can anyone really wait for it all to cook before eating it? I cant keep up cooking it from eating it at the same time.... it takes about 7 minutes for bacon to fry and 1 minute for me to eat... put more on, eat it, put more on, eat it. Hail to anyone that has that kind of discipline!!

Tony's Restaurant of Birch Run wanted for Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" | MLive.com (http://www.mlive.com/business/mid-michigan/index.ssf/2009/02/tonys_i75_restaurant_in_birch.html)

One pound of bacon on their BLT's. I read somewhere that Tony's goes through 5 tons of bacon a week.

Speaking of bacon. I usually get my slabs of bacon from Woods. However I decided since I was at Nicks already getting other items I'd just try theirs. Big mistake!! Their bacon isnt really all that good. I am glad I only actually got their 5lb pack of it.
