Has anyone eaten at the new "Sawatdee Thai Seafood" place on Great Mills Rd? Apparently they have Thai Seafood carryout... I was thinking about trying it, but I'm a little nervous with new places.

An awesome place with great prices. Real Thai authentic food. Thai Inter was sold at the beginning of this and the staff/management has changed. Including the authenicity of the food.
Trying something new won't kill you. Then you can give your honest opinion.

I have eaten there 13 times in the last three weeks. I have had no problems. Their noodle soup is very good; just let them know how spicy you want it. I have had most of the menu items, all have been good. You can eat there, only two small tables though. Mostly carry-out. I don't even look at the menu anymore, just walk in and tell them what I am hungry for, and they make it. They make a very good Mango and Coconut Milk sticky rice dessert. Nice people and tastes very authentic.

Ok, their little parking lot is always full at lunchtime, so unless a lot of people are getting their hair cut next door, quite a few people must be eating there... I'm going to try it out tomorrow.

A little heavy on the fish sauce, but otherwise was tasty.

I got the Green Curry, Medium spicy. It had completely different vegetables than what was listed on the menu, but it was pretty good. I will go back again...

I have eaten at Sawatdee numerous times and really liked it. My favorite dish there is the "Shrimp in a Blanket." They are large shrimp wrapped in a light batter/noodle and lightly deep fried. They serve them with some really awesome sauce. Great prices too.
They have fresh raw seafood you can take home; oysters, shrimp, fish, crabs etc.
One of the best things about Sawatdee is their service. Pim is the owner and Kat works with her too. They are the friendliest, nicest, funny women! Beautiful women too!! They are a couple of Hotties!
Try it! Great place. :dingding:

Not impressed in the least. Nice people so so food in my opinion.
Went there for lunch for the first time today. I really enjoyed the Pad KaProw with mixed seafood @ $7.99. A generous amount of Shrimp, scallops, and calamari.
Will definitely go back.

This place is very good. I eat at Inner Thigh as well as Sawatdee. Sawatdee is definitely better for people who know Thai food. Inner Thigh has DEFINITELY changed since the new ownership. Its a shame. They are obviously making shortcuts to make more money.
Sawatdee is located on Great Mills Road, right past the Dealership on the right. Can't miss the big sign on the road!
Enjoy...
