You should be able to catch some pre-spawn fish now with the waters being really warm for this time of year.

You need to read the fishing regulations on yellows, there is a limit and size and you have to use barbless hooks. now that said, it seems the regs. change now and then.

Any luck on the perch down there?

I caught 3 Nice Yellows out of SML last April...I was surprised because I never knew that Yellow Perch were in that lake. I might just skip trying to catch Yellows at Allens Fresh and Go straight to SML this year..its a heck of alot closer for me...

I heard the fish at Allens Fresh are larger and more abundant this year due to the warm winter.

I latched into 15 of them the other day but only a few were over 9 inches.
