I was having a nice dinner with RoseRed at Gridiron Grill about 30 minutes ago when the bartender announced the police were cordoning off the area due to a briefcase left unattended at the carwash and the bomb squad was on the way so get going if you didn't want to be stuck there while they investigated.

The helicopter was circling because of an accident in Redgate. A motorcyclist laid his bike down and suffered LOC.

I had a couple too many beers and was out having a smoke when I realized it was beyond dumb.

First off who would go to the trouble of making a suitcase bomb and decide that the Callaway Carwash would be a good target?

Second, now that this is going to be in the paper teenagers all over Southern Maryland are now digging out those old backpacks and Samsonite Luggage their parents ditched in the attic to leave strategically all over the place.

So as soon as I finished my smoke I had an epiphany that I, yes I should right this wrong. I took off at a trot, leaped over the crime scene tape, hung a left into the bay where the suitcase sat, grabbed it and unlatched it and withdrew ...................an accordion. Just as I was laughing and turned to show the offending instrument to the police they tazed me. I just posted bond.
