The Stir: 5 Things Not To Say To Divorced Moms (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-stir/5-things-not-to-say-to-di_b_1273651.html)

1. What happened to their dad?

2. How are the kids dealing with everything?

3. Does their father help you out?

4. Oh, that's a shame.

5. At least you get time off when the kids are with your ex!

Why shouldn't you say that to divorced moms?

The woman that wrote that sounds like a real pissy beyotch. No wonder her husband left her.

1. What happened to their dad? He decided he wanted to act like a butthead and I decided I couldn't live with that, so he's in the back yard under the willow tree. 2. How are the kids dealing with everything? Just fine.

3. Does their father help you out? When I throw tantrums.

4. Oh, that's a shame. No it's not. Less laundry for me!
5. At least you get time off when the kids are with your ex! And when they're with their grandma. Yay me!

Why shouldn't you say that to divorced moms?

:yeahthat: I wouldn't be offended by any of that.

I think it depends on who is doing the asking though....some person who you barely speak to, it's really none of their business and I can see how that'd get annoying. Someone who's closer to you, I can see them asking.

Anndddd, I'm more more appreciative of people being direct and asking questions than I am of them being presumptious.

Would you ever let a guy tie you up naked in a car as a valentine’s gift?

Who's the gift for, him or her?

Obviously for her, if it was for him there would have been beer. :buddies:

I guess she EXPECTS questions more inline with..

DAMN, as hot as you are, had he LOST HIS MIND??

Who would leave someone as sexy as you??

DId he finally admit to being a homosexual??

Personally I'd use a little different phraseology..

More like (if she is hot)...

DAMN, as hot as you are, you must be a psycho biatch...

As sexy as you are?? You must be a cold fish in bed..

OR my favorite..

Who'd blame him?

Wow...

After reading that article the only question I have is: How did you ever get laid with such an ugly personality? B*tch.

Flattery...can be the quickest and easiest way to end a conversation. Which, in this case, may be for your benefit......or, at least, like steering the titanic awaaaayyyyy from the iceberg.....
