Clarification for Scoring Does 1 point go along with the 5 points for a WIN
Example , I pick Joey Logano to Win . 5 for the Win & 1 for Top 5 pick ????

But drivers and cars would probably die....

Ever been to a 500? I've been to two, and that's enough for me and mine.

A lot of fun, but always an incredibly long, tiring day.

From Tampa, it is about 130 miles to the Daytona Speedway. The first 128 miles take about 2 hours or so. The last two miles takes you two hours or so......and then the parking lot and walk to the track......

Then you hope it doesn't rain. We had great weather for both of our appearances.

Getting home is quicker, as long as you wait about 90 minutes after the race before you even start your car engine.

But the deafening, perfectly tuned-ringing roar of the cars and the wind blowing your hats off as you walk along the fance, four feet from, and window level of, the race cars blasting past you at 200 mph......

Priceless.

She has a lot of potential in nascar.

What else can go wrong with this race?

The emergency crews were not prepared for a JP-4 fire. CO2 and water just piss off jet fuel. They needed AFFF
(aqueous film-forming foam) to douse it, and had none.

All navy personnel understand what that is. Basic Firefighting 101.

Also the huge realization that those vehicles have no where near the protection for a raceway accident. 'Hey, these trucks don't race, they don't need door and passenger protection! Seat belts are fine!'

I suspect someone is going to re-think allowing those trucks on the track with 70mph race cars. That driver was very lucky to be alive.

Amen to that as well. Apparently, that vehicle was "blowing off" debris from the previous incident that caused the yellow flag.

That driver was going a lot faster than 70. He was trying to catch up with the pack, and something broke in his car.

If anyone wants to change their picks, they have until Noon. OHG, if I was you, which I'm not, I'd take advantage. Danica will win the race to the motor home lot.

Well, I got that one right :killingme:killingme

Dont be knocking Jr. Dippy, if there was another half lap to go HomeDepot would be counting up his 15 points. I really wanted Junior to win, but I wasnt looking forward to Homedep. getting those 15 points.

Junior is going to be my #1 pick next week. This is going to be his year.:yahoo:

They go two hours during a red flag commercial free and then four laps in to a green flag run, on come the full screen ads.

Now, under a caution, they're not using the time to get commercials out of the way.

They even followed my girl Danica, across the grass to the infield and showed her unzipping her jumpsuit as she was getting ready to use the john.

The only chance Junyer had would have been if he wrecked Biffle. There's nothing Junyer could do. The second place car controls these things on the last lap, and the second place car was content to finish second. Biffle's an ass.

Junior going to Win sometime this year . It's going to be a gamble where & how many races to pick him for a win to earn those 15 points  One thing I know, whomever gets those 15 points has the best chance of winning this years "Championship" :yahoo:
