Please note that we manually review and approve all new user accounts due to an ever increasing problem with spammers. Please allow up to one business day for the review and approval process. You will not be able to post or access member-only areas until your account has been approved.

Also, if you do not complete the validation process described above, your account will never make it to the moderation process.

What to do if your account is not approved:

On occasion, we may mistakenly delete a new registration thinking you are a spammer. EXISTING USERS: CAN NO LONGER ACCESS EMAIL ACCOUNT ON FILE

If the email account on file with your user registration is no longer valid, or needs to be changed, you can so by accessing your User Control Panel (UserCP). You can access it directly at: http://forums.somd.com/profile.php?do=editpassword

Please note that when you update your email address, you will receive a new validation email just like the one described above. You must click on the validation link in the email in order to continue to use your account.

If you no longer have access to the email account on file with your user registration, and can not log in in to your forums' account in order to change it, please write to us (http://help.somd.com/index.php?action=ticket_submit&d=1) using your new email address. Please be sure to specify your username and the email address currently on file.

Note: If you are using a free email account like Yahoo, HotMail, or Live.com, you may need to login to the account on an ongoing basis or the service may consider the account to be abandoned and disable your account.
