I started reading "Preparation for Death", by St. Alphonse Liguori. I just began this morning, and it's quite...thought provoking. He really expands on Paul's words that we are to consider this life as nothing. I'll also be trying to get to Mass a couple days during the week, Stations on Friday (St. Alphonse's meditations are preferred), and giving up meat and salt. Now, because no one here knows me personally, I feel comfortable that I am not violating Jesus' admonitions that the left hand does not know what the right is doing, etc.

Not that I think I am mean to my husband, but I am going to try to be nicer to him. (and maybe everyone, at least on days that I feel like it)
