There was a pregnant gal climbing Dunns River Falls during my trip to Jamaica 2 weeks ago. She was in the same group as me. I heard one of the workers try and encourage her not to but she didn't listen. Luckily, she made it from the bottom to the top without incident.

how stupid. I am not one to think pregnant women need to be in a bubble or perfectly sedentary..but good lord you really can kill your kid by falling. yikes.

With how freaked out doctors were when I tripped and fell flat on my face (well, belly, actually) getting out of the tub when I was that size pregnant... I'd hate to imagine the freak out from a stupid skateboarding incident.

My niece slipped on a little patch of ice and fell. She lost her son at 37 weeks gestation, a mere 3 weeks before his due date. She wasn't doing anything dangerous, just stepped out of the car and fell.

To do something like this is stupid. If she fell, I would hope she'd be charged with child abuse or something, but we know that will never happen.

Well if she crashes, maybe she'll kill herself (can't procreate anymore) and kills the kid (one less idiot in the world to procreate). :yay:

seems like a good Idea to me. If she crashes her big belly and the baby will pad her fall.
