Stone’s varsity boys’ basketball team advances to state level
The Thomas Stone High School varsity boys' basketball team is the 3A regional champion. The Cougar team advances to the state semi-finals and faces Centennial High School of Howard County at 3 p.m., March 8, at the Comcast Center at the University of Maryland in College Park. Tickets are available for purchase on the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSA) Web site at http://www.mpssaa.org/wintersports/boysbasketball/release.asp?release_id=475. Charles County Public Schools provides 26,700 students in grades prekindergarten through 12 with an academically challenging education.
