With this oddly warm summer do you think its safe to plant my tomatos outside now in Waldorf? I have a feeling it wont frost over again... any opinions?

Is your ground over 70*?
Mine are still in the greenhouse. I don't want to plant them, then get some odd-ball frost. I'll probabaly wait a few more weeks.
I do have my broccoli, onions, lettuce, and beans planted right now though.

 I don't know, I have transplanted all ready. Southern States has starter tomatoes if you dont have a greenhouse and ones started in there. I transplanted mine this weekend. Good luck to you! If it frosts over, I suppose you can always throw a tarp or something over it  I wouldnt expect any deep/long lasting freezing or frosts this time of year. It will be April in a few weeks! :cartwheel

It is tempting but you should only be planting cold natured plants like potatoes, onions, brussel sprouts, ect.
My bets are that we will see at least on more good freeze. It is March still. A rule of thumb around here is to not plant cold sensitive plants until after Mothers Day.
