Aug. 27, 2012 – First day of school for students, grades K – 12
Sept. 3, 2012 – Labor Day, schools/offices closed
Sept. 4, 2012 – First day for Three's program, and for category one and two prekindergarten students
Sept. 10, 2012 – First day for category three prekindergarten students
Sept. 14, 2012 – Teacher in-service day, schools closed for students
Sept. 19, 2012 – Two-hour early dismissal, no Three's program, morning prekindergarten students attend
Sept. 26, 2012 – Two-hour early dismissal, no Three's program, afternoon# prekindergarten students attend
Oct. 8, 2012 – Columbus Day, schools open

* Four inclement weather days are built into the calendar. If they are not used, they will be deducted from the end of the school year. If additional inclement weather days are needed, Presidents Day, Feb. 18, will change to a school day and will be followed by days added to spring break, beginningwith April 5 and continuing with April 4, 3 and 2.#
