Why would anyone be on the water on a day like today?!

because some people make a living on the water?

It wasn't commercial, it was washed up on the rocks right by the swimming beach on base at 3pm. I guess they rescued the people, but not the boat. At least I didn't see anyone who looked like they had been out on the water.

Actually, no. I had a dentist appt and had to leave. I was hoping someone else listening to the scanner would give updates.

not sure if this is the same incident but Boat 3 ended up with 4 persons onboard yesterday afternoon. Charles County Boat 5 was sent on the initial dispatch and helped follow Boat 3 in.
