I am looking to have a few things done at my house and was wondering of any of the forum readers here can suggest some trustworthy professionals.

We need our outdoor porch and pool deck painted. We had it done several years ago, and six months later the paint was just as peeled and shoddy looking as it had been before it was done. Granted, the heat and snow can be hard on a painted deck, but for a paint job to last less than six months seems very strange. Can anyone recommend a reputable person that can do a quality job on outdoor decks?

I'd also love some suggestions regarding people who can build some custom furniture for us. I have pictures and measurements - I just need someone with the skills!

Thanks in advance for any recommendations you can send my way.

What kind of custom furniture are you looking for? Kitchen, bedroom, living, outdoor?

Problem with the deck may be removing all of the old paint... You can use the best extetior paint known to man buy if you put it over cheap peeling paint.... Well..

And is the deck pressure treated wood?
