Called Motovation, hoping to drop my bike off for some work tomorrow.

My appointment is for May 4  I knew I should have gotten my act in gear back in February.

I read the title and thought you had a hot date set up.

I thought those Honda-thingies never required service...or only every 100K miles or 10 years...or something like that.

You should buy my '47 Harley. It changes its own oil. :howdy:

That's pretty much right! It's NEVER been to the shop before except for tires. '89 1500. Figured it was time to change the timing belts and the water pump is making some noise. Normally do that myself, but it also has a performance issue, like a broken vacuum line, but I'll be durned if I can find the problem. Vacuum system on that bike rivals the worst California emissions system ever made. I'll let them look at it.

Yeah, you wouldn't want the water powered vacuum/carpet shampoo thingie to get water at the wrong time.

You've never seen a Goldie up close, have ya??? I should drop by sometime... It's not the simple flathead motor/frame/wheels.

The standing joke is that GoldWing riders don't wave to other riders because there are so many buttons that we're still looking for the 'wave' button.....

Hey..don't be hatin' on my flathead. It is a complicated machine too.

Sometimes I wipe the oil off it. Every once in a while I file and set the points and clean both spark plugs.

And mine has a button. One. A horn button.
