Wonder if the vehicles could be driven. If not I would be looking for any junk collectors with tow trucks.

Never know around here. There was an auction for a very rare car (Duesenberg?) that was found in a garage around here a few years ago.
I would bet that these were clunkers sitting in a yard.
That 'Cuda would look great in a Grape purple paint job!

Whats worse about this is the fact that the cars could be scrapped, parted out, or re-titled easily with a couple of fake bills of sale. I doubt that they will ever be found unless the thief is an idiot and trys to scrap them locally.

Yeah, but the thieves can get up to $300 for each (I saw a sign on the light post at the end of our street).

You have to be careful with their drivers. We had a car picked up a few years ago, met the guy and he followed me to the location. I gave him the title and a few minutes later said ok $250. I told him the sign says $300, he begged to differ and said that the sign has writing that says up to. Needless to say I told him I was going to call his boss and that other $50 appeared very quickly.
Someone could get a nice chunk if any of the components are in good shape, easily 400-500 at a salvage yard. They are heavy cars.
