Amazing. 30 minutes later and it's still non-stop sirens out there.

Someone was struck near Kingston Creek Rd and Rt 4.. The police are responding to numerous calls for fights in Lex Pk and other stupid crap.. It's Friday Night in St. Mary's....

It is all about Tiki Bar. They had St. Mary's vehicles there to back up Calvert before anything happened. I have been listening since noon...it seems to be more out of control than usual this year...fights, disorderly, injuries, 911 calls from callers about drunks on the road, plus, the cops have said several times that the original plans of what the set up was for Tiki keep changing...they make comments like..."well, just add to the list, or great, or oh, boy". This isn't Mardi Gras, people! Go to New Orleans or Brazil, if you need to act out. I was brought up in NO, so I know from experience. I don't see why the citizens of Solomons have to put of with it at all. I see every year that a doc down there tries to stop the Tiki opening, but he never wins. I have lived here for 14 years, and never once had any desire to to Tiki opening.

I was only listening to Calvert scanner, not St. Mary's scanner. My mistake for not mentioning that. Hope you have a bright, sun shiney day!:smile:

Initially it was a reported commercial building fire at K-Mart. They cleared that and were sent to Rt 4 for a MVA involving a pedestrian. Pedestrian was flown to PG.
