The Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center is asking for the community’s support and sponsorship for our “Luau with the Blue Crabs” fundraising event at a Blue Crabs baseball game. We are working with the team to help raise funds for the Forrest Center’s student organizations and programs. Several of our student organizations are trying to raise money to send students to state and national competition. In-game sponsorships include a Grand Slam Sponsorship, Marketing Tables and print advertisements in the game’s playbill.

In addition to your support and sponsorship, we are also inviting you to attend the game which takes place at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012. Ticket prices are $13.00 for field box seats and $30.00 for picnic seats which include a two hour all you can eat buffet. Ticket sales will also benefit the Forrest Center’s student organizations and programs. The Grand Slam Sponsorship costs $2,500. This is a great advertising opportunity for a local business. As part of the deal with the Blue Crabs the Forrest Center gets to keep the full $2,500 which will go a long way to help us fund our student organizations.

In addition to the Grand Slam Sponsorship, marketing tables are available to local businesses or other organizations for $500. This is also a great advertising opportunity. Our student organizations also get to keep the full $500 so your support would be greatly appreciated.

Student organizations at the Forrest Center are directly linked to the program competencies. Our SkillsUSA chapter and Robotics team have been very successful at the regional, state and national levels over the years and there's no reason to expect that our new FFA chapter won't be any less successful.
