Ask Kwillia, she went that cheap route too.

I assume by your response that you don't approve of stamped concrete? Or you sell pavers?

No, actually I think it looks good.
Kinda like fake plants.
If you need some of those, contact Larry.

Got it. Luckily I'm not looking for opinions on stamped concrete, just on folks who install it.

I'd like to see pics too and find out who she used to do the work. We had such a beautiful stamped concrete patio at our old house. I love the way it looked.

was it slippery or hard to maintain?

It wasn't hard at all to maintain. It would get a little slippery after it rained but not too bad.

We have it around our pool and they mixed non slip (sand) in the clear coat to keep it from being slippery. Don't know who did the job since it was a sub contractor when we had the pool done. Charles County Concrete in Waldorf has a large display area outside their sales building. Don't think they do it but probably know who does.

I believe that is who did ours... we love ours. I do recommend you stick with a light stain color. We did light at first then I went darker... the darker color will wear off in places where patio chairs are scooted about.

I love Dennis but his crew did my patio and walkway and it's developed a rather large problem. The way the walkway was constructed prevents water from draining off by the deck. After a rain I have a pool there for weeks.
Go with Kwillia's guy - her patio looks awesome.
I have a dark red cobblestone look and I love it - except for the drain flaw.

the drain flaw.
Yard boy can't fix it?

It will require either ripping out the walkway and redoing it, or excavating a drain under the walkway to funnel the water out. It's outside his job description.

I bet he could fix it if he had a right tools for the job.

I tried to get an estimate from him back in the spring & we set up an appointment for him to come over, the first time he called to reschedule the second time he just didn't show up. I don't do buisness with people who aren't dependable so I never called him back.
