Ok so he got caught up in the moment in his preaching and his emontions and spoke in error.

Question to you, is how to you suggest correcting unbiblical behavior behavior? Do you use the rod as the Bible commands, give them a free pass, encourage it?

I don't think he should have backed down. If that is what he thinks, then that is what he should say.

I do think its funny to read all the comments from the readers, they go a long way to judge him while pointing out that judging others is wrong..
