To the "individual" in the Yellow Xterra this morning @0630 just before Rt 4. The solid white line means it is a "shoulder" not your personal pass lane. You do not know how to yield or how to "blend" into traffic. When you know that two lanes are going to turn into 1 lane, you are supposed to yield to the left, not continue down the shoulder until you feel you can pass several more cars at a high rate of speed and continue on. So, in other words, you are an idiot.

C.C., I feel for ya. I'm right there with ya. I too have posted things like this. The only thing that that accomplishes is, getting jabs from the other forumites; calling you "a whiner" and things like that.Besides, I'm betting that Yellow Xterra doesn't even read the forums.
But it does feel kinda good to vent though, doesn't it?

Saw one of those idiots in the same location. Decided to open a gap and let the idiot in. The idiot wasn't interested and passed 6 more cars on the shoulder just before the old Leonardtown road forced the idiot into line. All so the idiot could get to the red light to make a left on Chancellors Run.

One day you'll see him wrapped around a tree. Improve the gene pool; don't call 911.

They also do it here in Calvert on Route 4 approaching the bridge. People who are probably smart enough to know better (driving expensive vehicles). Then they act like they are entitled to everyone making room for them to merge into the lane they should have been in the first place.

That's a place the Calvert Sheriffs could make a lot of money, instead of focusing speeders. Once they go past the point the line turns solid, wave'em over.

Do I see a trend here (http://forums.somd.com/life-southern-maryland/246262-police-ticketing-vehicles-rt-5-a.html)?

It doesn't necessarily apply to people driving expensive vehicles.
Folks who drive beaters do the same thing.
