Every year someone backs their boat down the ramp into the water from their favorite launch ramp only to discover they forgot to replace the boat plug. That pesky little plug you remove in the winter to allow rain water to drain.
You watch the boat sink at the ramp.
Don't let it be you.

Yup. Happens all the time. What is really kewl is watching them, if they haven't launched yet, pull the trailer back out with an extra couple thousand pounds on board...

I've never seen it Larry but when I worked for West Marine I did sell a few boat plugs to people whose boats were sinking at the county ramp under the Thomas Johnson Bridge.
Every once in a while you hear a story of one that gets underway and starts filling with water well away from shore.
