I'd like to get a nice wooden no tresspassing/no soliciting sign made, on a wooden post. Something that I can put in my front garden bed that people will see. Anyone know who makes wooden signs in somd? Maybe the Amish? I've had it with these jackasses knocking on the door all hours of the day, especially at 8:15 on a Sunday morning. Thanks!

It's probably the police knocking on your door to let you know that someone stole the old wooden 'no tresspassing' sign out of your garden.
:duh:

Why not just post your property w/a sign (any hardware store or Lowes/Home Depot) nailed on a tree and put a Beware of Dog sign while you are at it??

Or, let the grass grow up about 3 ft tall and put signs up
around the property that say 'Snake Farm'.

If you want a really nice wooden sign, check with the Calvert Marine Museum and see who does their signs. Pepper used to ages ago, and he made the best signs ever! But he has passed on.
I know Jimmy carves, and I would think others in the shop might like some easy side work.
Check them out.....:howdy:

(But I agree with the rest..a nice cheap plastic sign would be a better investment especially since it might get stolen!)

Not sure if he still does it but the poster on here Yankee, makes some really good wooden signs. Ive seen a few he has made for some others and they are very nice.

Thanks for all the replies. Although our yard is surrounded by trees, we don't have any in our yard that we could hang a sign on that people would see as they come down the driveway.

Bay Kat, I love that sign. It'd be perfect for our yard being that we often have lots of people over for drinks and grilling. But I think some of the soliciters that come here having already been hitting the bottle and I don't want to encourage them to come back for drinks!
