That's what we're thinking too, but this link says we'd have to go to either Baltimore or Richmond. Does anyone know of a lab that is closer?

Ummmm....I think I'd just as soon keep our faces off the Maury show unless they paid us really really big bucks. I'll call the accredited lab tomorrow to see if there's someway to do this without us having to drive up there.

The drug store tests are pretty accurate if done exactly according to the directions. The problem being if you don't get the result you expect then you will question everything from how you did the test to its accuracy. They are also not admissable in court if child support or custody becomes an issue.

Keep doing the test until you get the result you're looking for. You'll either be a free woman or a lottery winner for the next decade.

Depending on how many times you do the test, the kid's gonna have to bleed every time you don't like the result.

Family courts order paternity tests all the time. I am fairly sure the swabs are done at the court house and sent off to the appropriate lab. So perhaps you can try calling the court house and asking? Or you could call one of the local labs and see what they require to do it for you.
