The day before Memorial Day, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan lamented that Mexico had lost territory to America due to the Mexican-American War and disparaged American military action around the globe.

The poorly-timed rant took place in San Diego in front of a partially Hispanic audience. The oft controversial minister began by disparaging “White Mexicans” of Spanish decent before announcing that “Africans were in that part of the World [Mexico] maybe before [Mexicans] got there.” The minister lamented that illegal Mexicans are called “aliens” and declared that Americans “ought to be praising the Mexicans because we living on land that was once theirs.”

Farrakhan went on to declare that he was “sad that Mexico lost California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado” after the Mexican-American War “trickery.” This led to the minister generalizing about the American people as “a people that make war and blame the person they makin’ war on and then take your land.”

However, The minister sounded overjoyed that minority births outnumber white births in America, according to recent US Census reports. Given the news, Farrakhan noted that white people will soon “be the minority in their own country that they took from the native people.” He also projected that minorities will soon “become governor of every state.”

Between RR and me, that pretty well covers the entire state. Bleeding heart liberals have ruined the state I once loved. Just like they're going to ruin this state.

This is one of the seemingly endless stupidities of the right. We long ago pushed away blacks who are every bit as personally conservative and family oriented as white righties claim the world oughta be.

We long ago alienated immigrants, especially Mexican Americans, who had followed the rules on immigration by supporting, on the one hand, an anything goes model on immigration coupled with a 'run 'em all out!' mindset.

We have invited distrust with our 'end welfare!' mantra for people because it makes them fat and lazy while supporting all sorts of pork for corporate welfare that makes companies fat and lazy.

We are all about individual rights and the constitution limiting government, not people, right up to the point people are doing things we may not agree with. Abortion, drugs, homosexuality. Then, we see the constitution, somehow, differently.

And, for over a decade now, we've been all for crusades, protecting Western culture from Eastern but terrified to call it what it is, alienating everyone else while simultaneously leaving no one with an understanding of what we are fighting for and why.

Is that our plan? Wait until we've completely lost to Islam and then say "Y'all are gonna regret not supporting us when you had the chance! Ha ha!"???

I am only interested if they are coherent and can put together a compelling argument that may perhaps give me another way to think about things. Otherwise it's like listening to Kiki Stinkertoes whine and ##### because she wants something, but cannot articulate what exactly it is that's bothering her, and I can't understand a damn word she's saying. At some point I just toss her outside and tell her go ##### to the squirrels.

And speaking of squirrels....

However, allow me to elaborate. I think it serves all our interests in the political arena when people like Louis who are influential gt heard from so people can hear for themselves just what you are pointing out. It's just better to let someone like that speak for them self because, otherwise, no one would believe they say stuff like that.
