I am looking for a hairstylist who can do a decent toddler cut for a 2 year old. She has very thin hair - was trying to grow out the bangs but I think I need to give up. Any recommendations on stylists or styles would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Scalped Salon in Prince Frederick. Talk to Grace, but really, anyone there is great.

If she has thin hair, you're not going to have to cut that much so why not do it yourself instead of paying someone else to cut a few snips of hair? How much "styling" can you do on such a tiny head with thin hair anyway? Just a suggestion.

Micah at Hair It Is cut my 17 month old son's hair a few weeks ago. She did a great job.

Hair Cuttery! Don't spend a fortune going to a higher end salon, especially for a 2 year-old.

It's a little late now, but you could also try the Cosmetology dept. at the Calvert Career Center

My daughter was nearly bald at 2 with very fine whispy hair. I started growing out her bangs around 2 1/2 -3. It was a pain. I started pulling up her bangs onto the top of her head in a "pebbles" pony tail. It kept them out of her eyes until they were long enough to stay out of her eyes. It took about 2 years. She is 6 now and has very thick beautiful hair. The key to growing the bangs is patience. Keep pulling them up everyday and eventually they will grow out. Good luck.

That's called a "palm tree." I don't know WHY I know that. Mom couldn't do that when I was a baby; too wavy.
